Level:  Cadette/Senior

Leaders:  Kathy Williams, Angela Saunders, Linda Martin

Registered Adults:  1

Badges:  We are working on Creative Cooking and Women's Health.  We are also working on the "Girl Scouts Against Smoking" program.

We are making progress on our online babysitting course.  So far Cassie and Emily have completed the class and received their certificates. 

Recently we had fun making Play Dough.  Here's how:

Play Dough

1 Cup water                                            1 Tbsp. cooking oil              

1 Cup flour                                               2 Tbsp. cream of tartar

1/2 Cup salt                                             Food coloring

Mix flour, salt, and cream of tartar in a saucepan.  Mix water, oil, and food coloring in a measuring cup.  Pour liquid into flour mixture and stir well.  Heat on low and stir constantly until ingredients form a ball.  (Mixture will bind together VERY QUICKLY when heated.)  Store in a tightly covered container or a zip-loc bag.  Enjoy!

At our next meeting we will be finishing our program on Girl Scouts Against Smoking.

Upcoming events for our troop:

Sunday, March 28th, tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m., we will be having a Mary Kay facial.

We are also in the process of planning an Easter Tea Party for one of the Brownie troops.

Our first Girl Scout cookie booth sale was at Ace Hardware, Saturday March 6th. 

Next cookie booth sale is scheduled for Saturday, March 20th, 10:00 a.m. until noon.  We will be at Rite Aide and hope to sell the remainder of our cookies.
