Leader Introductions: We have two new leaders for this year, Sue Fisher troop 1497 and Jo-Elle Perkins, troop 512.

Troop times and days: Due to the number of troops, all troops who meet at the Girl Scout house will be able to meet every-other week. Any troops that want to meet more than every-other week will need to meet at another location.

Open House:September 20, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout house. Help is needed at the elementary school open-house nights for GS registration. Ruth Brown’s open house was 9-10-2003. Margaret White’s will be September 18th. Julie will find out when Appleby’s open house is.

Service Unit Events: Planned service unit events for this year include: sugar plum tree, troop camping trip, food drive, Christmas parade, group photo. Tanya will get information regarding pictures before Christmas.

Troop Cleaning Calendar: Julie will have the troop cleaning/cleaning products calendar on the board by 10-1-03.

Training - Leadership I and CPR: Leadership I training will be within the next week or so for anyone who needs this training. The college has scheduled CPR & 1st Aid class at Spring Street on October 4, 2003. Cost is $10.00.

Fall Product Training: Fall product training will be Wednesday, 9-24-2003 at 6:00 p.m. Fall product will be sold from 10-3-2003 until 10-24-2003. Tanya will be at the Girl Scout house 10-2-03 at 6:00 to pass out the product sale forms.

Cabinets: New cabinets are in and have been assigned to troops.

New Registrations: Anyone who has registrations can bring them in anytime. Julie will be putting up a large mailbox with a lock. Leaders can put registrations/money in the mailbox.

Need new chairs for the Scout House: The school is having an auction. Ann will put in a bid on chairs.

Next Meeting: Next meeting will be Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 5:45. We will have a Halloween potluck.
